Kristian Hlynsson settled it in the 48th minute with a left-footed finish, as FC Twente beat Groningen 2-1. The midfielder's strike proved the decisive moment in a game level at the break.

After the restart he burst into the left side of the box on a fast break and swept his shot into the centre of the net, a clinical action that flipped control.

From there, Hlynsson linked play between the lines, adding six successful final third passes and pressing from midfield. His three tackles, two won, helped Twente manage the game as Groningen chased.
