Liam Millar supplied the winning cross in the 63rd minute as Birmingham City beat Derby County 2-1.

After the restart he repeated the delivery from a corner, his outswinger met at close range for the decisive header (63.).

Millar finished with two assists, three key passes and two accurate crosses from five, repeatedly exploiting space down the left and from set pieces.

Because those deliveries arrived both in transition and from corners, his service kept the Rams' back line under pressure and allowed Birmingham to control the key moments.

Birmingham host Middlesbrough next. Derby visit Burnley.
