Brooklyn Kabongolo headed the equaliser in the 76th minute to earn Livingston a 1-1 draw with St Mirren.
The French defender's moment came from a measured Barrie McKay delivery, his header guided into the top left corner from the centre of the box (76.). It was a centre back's finish, attacking the flight early and meeting the cross on the move.
From there he imposed himself in both penalty areas. He attacked high balls with conviction and repeatedly cleared danger as St Mirren pushed for a late response.
Kabongolo's numbers underlined the influence: 9 clearances, 6 aerial duels won and 2 attempts, with one on target for the goal. That blend of penalty box threat and back line security steadied Livingston and tilted the tie back their way.
With that display banked, Livingston visit Hibernian next in the Premiership. St Mirren travel to Dundee United.
