Alexandros Gogic levelled in the 89th minute with a composed finish, earning St Mirren a 1-1 draw at Livingston. The defender's late intervention capped a performance that balanced penalty box presence with aerial authority.
In the first half, Gogic set the tone defensively, reading play well, making clearances and seeing one effort blocked from range as he stepped out when the chance arose.
After the restart, he kept winning duels and held St Mirren together under pressure. Then he arrived unmarked to convert Scott Tanser's delivery (89.), timing his run perfectly to punish a rare lapse.
He finished with eight clearances and four aerials won, plus two attempts with one on target, underlining how he combined last-ditch defending with a match-saving contribution in the opposition box.
Because Livingston forced crosses and second balls, Gogic's positioning and timing were pivotal, and when St Mirren finally put quality into the area, his movement ensured the decisive touch.
St Mirren visit Dundee United next. Livingston travel to Aberdeen.
