Decisive final matchday closes Round One of Women’s U-17 Qualifiers

MIAMI – Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers ends with the final matches in Groups C, D and E on Monday.
Group C
Cayman Islands vs. Saint Lucia
The Cayman Islands will take on Saint Lucia in Group C at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.
It will be the first time these teams meet in Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers.
Both sides are looking to finish their tournament on a positive note. Saint Lucia is coming off a 5-3 loss to Antigua and Barbuda, while the Cayman Islands were blanked 3-nil by Haiti.
Haiti vs. Guatemala
Haiti and Guatemala will battle for the top spot in Group C Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.
This will be the first time the teams meet in the Preliminary Round, however Haiti is 2-0 against Guatemala in the history of the tournament. The first meeting was a 3-2 win in 2016, and the most recent was a 3-1 victory in 2022.
Haiti’s offense has been stellar so far this tournament, racking up 14 goals while only conceding one. Guatemala has also been stout on defense and is yet to allow a single goal over three matches.
Haiti is coming off two consecutive clean sheets, while Guatemala played to a scoreless draw against Saint Lucia in its last contest.
Guatemala is in second place of the group with seven points and will need a victory to leap over Haiti (nine points) to win the group.
Group D
Guyana vs. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Guyana faces Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Group D at Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba.
It will mark the first time these nations meet in Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers.
Guayana is coming off a 3-1 loss to Honduras. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines fell 5-1 to Aruba in its previous encounter.
Honduras vs. Jamaica
Honduras and Jamaica will clash for the top spot in Group D at Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba.
It will be the first time these teams meet in Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers.
Honduras offense has tallied 21 goals, while only conceding two. Jamaica has scored eight and only allowing one.
Honduras is coming off a 3-1 win over Guyana, while Jamaica blanked Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 5-nil in its last match.
Jamaica is in second place of the group with seven points and will need a victory to leap Honduras (nine points) and win the group.
Group E
Grenada vs. Anguilla
Grenada will take on Anguilla in Group E at Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.
It will mark the first time these nations meet in Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers.
Both sides look to finish their tournament on a high note. Anguilla is coming off its first win of the tournament, a 3-1 victory over the British Islands.
Grenada is hoping to bounce back from an 8-1 loss to Costa Rica.
Costa Rica vs. Cuba
Costa Rica and Cuba are set to battle for the top spot in Group E at Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.
It will be the first time these teams meet in Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers.
Tied in the standings with nine points each, goal differential comes into play for this one. Costa Rica is the highest-scoring team in the tournament with 37 goals. Just a draw would suffice for Las Ticas to win the group.
A solid Cuba side is looking to play spoiler and take all three points. Cuba won its last matchup, 3-1 against Anguilla, while Costa Rica topped Grenada, 8-1.
