Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice missed the eve-of-match training session and is a doubt for Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Sporting Portugal at 21:00. According to L'Équipe, the 27-year-old sat out Tuesday’s final workout.
Mikel Arteta said they would wait until Wednesday morning to assess Rice before making a decision.

He declined to discuss the nature of the issue affecting the midfielder.
The Arsenal coach may also have to do without Bukayo Saka, Martin Ödegaard, Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori, who also missed training.
Mikel Merino, a long-term absentee, right foot, will also miss the match at the Emirates Stadium.
