Youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly has been impressive so far but might not earn his third consecutive start in the lineup. Hence, the left-back role could be up for grabs for Kieran Tierney.

Mikel Arteta would like to rotate his midfielder in this fixture. Therefore, Martin Odegaard and Mikel Merino were replaced by Ethan Nwaneri and Jorginho.

As Declan Rice is doubtful following a knock he received, Thomas Partey could be starting this game filling the former’s duties.

Attack

Bukayo Saka gets the much-needed rest as Raheem Sterling operates on the right wing. Gabriel Jesus should walk into the XI at the cost of Kai Havertz while Leandro Trossard gets the nod ahead of Gabriel Martinelli for the remaining spot.
