Sport and Tribuna Deportiva report that Barcelona sporting director Deco met agent Javi Garrido and Javi Guerra’s father in Barcelona, with Kang In Lee also discussed.
Sport says the meeting was a routine exchange on market matters and academy players, though Guerra’s situation and possible market conditions were covered. It adds that no operation is under way or imminent.
Sport reports Barcelona like the midfielder’s profile and sought direct information on his status. It says the club have tracked him in previous windows and continue to monitor him after a late-season peak that pushed Valencia towards the UEFA Conference League.
The current context does not point to a summer exit. Barcelona have made no offer, and in recent comments Guerra has been clear about wanting to keep developing at Valencia. He signed last summer on an improved, escalating deal through 30 June 2029.
After debuting for Spain on 4 June against Iraq, he spoke of aiming to help Valencia reach Europe next season, which is expected to be the last at the current Mestalla, founded in 1923. The meeting also covered other clients of Garrido, including young talents. Valencia maintain they will not ease any sale and view Guerra as the only indispensable player for 26/27.
