Demarai Gray out for Leicester visit, Iwata should be fit as Blues miss five | OneFootball

Demarai Gray will miss Birmingham City's meeting with Leicester City on Saturday, while Tomoki Iwata is in line to feature.

According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, Chris Davies said Iwata got through training and should be okay after a hip knock that saw him withdrawn during the 2-0 win at Oxford United. He will retain his right back berth as Blues aim to stretch their unbeaten run to seven.

Gray has missed the last eight games in all competitions since sustaining a calf problem against Derby County on Boxing Day.

Their opponents go into the game on the back of Thursday's points deduction and are under the guidance of interim Andy King.

Gray is expected to return in next weekend's FA Cup tie with Leeds United. Also out are left backs Alex Cochrane and Lee Buchanan, right back Ethan Laird and defender Jack Robinson.
