Deniz Gul greeted in Istanbul as Galatasaray agree transfer with Porto

Türkiye international Deniz Gul has become Galatasaray’s latest signing, arriving in Istanbul on Tuesday after the club agreed a transfer with Porto.

According to O Jogo, he was received amid euphoria on arrival.

The deal is worth 10 million euros, with a further 1 million in add-ons, and Porto will retain 10 percent of a future sale.

The 22-year-old forward joined Porto at the start of 2024/25 from Hammarby in Sweden.

He registered nine goals in 71 appearances for the Portuguese side over a little more than two seasons.
