Deportivo Madryn and Juan Manuel de Rosas clinched places in the Apertura quarter-finals as the final round in Zone one got under way.

According to SuperDepor.com, three men’s top-flight fixtures opened the ninth and last matchday of the Liga de Fútbol Valle del Chubut’s 2026 Apertura.

Madryn won 3-1 away to Independiente. Club Empleados de Comercio beat Guillermo Brown 4-1 at home to secure second place.

At the Villa Deportiva, Gaiman held leaders Germinal 0-0, a result that leaves Juan Manuel de Rosas free to host Alianza Fontana Oeste on Saturday without needing a result, while targeting third place.

Seven of the eight quarter-finalists are now set, Germinal, Club Empleados de Comercio, Deportivo Madryn and Juan Manuel de Rosas from Zone one, plus Huracán, Racing Club and J.J. Moreno from Zone two.

The final Zone two berth will be decided on Saturday. Deportivo Roca, on 11 points, have a bye and await La Ribera, on eight, who visit Deportivo Dolavon needing a big win.
