Deportivo Madryn will have a few extra days to prepare for their Primera Nacional debut away to Colón de Santa Fe after the calendar was pushed back. The team are coached by Cristian Díaz.

The Argentine Football Association announced on Friday that the Primera Nacional and Primera B will now start on 14 February 2026, one week later than originally planned. In the initial schedule, both competitions were due to begin on the weekend of 8 February, seven days after the Liga Profesional kicked off.

Primera C remains set to begin on 21 February 2026.

The delay arrives while clubs across the divisions are in pre-season, including Madryn under head coach Cristian Díaz.

Madryn have added forward Nicolás Servetto, 29, who arrives after a loan spell at Almagro from Gimnasia de Mendoza. He came through at Vélez Sársfield and has featured for Brown de Adrogué, Puerto Montt in Chile, Ferro de General Pico, Platense and Atlético Tucumán.
