Deportivo Madryn will play their final pre-season friendly against Olimpo de Bahía Blanca at Huracán de Trelew’s José Morat stadium on Saturday, with the venue change prompted by ongoing works.

The club said in a statement that renovations at Abel Sastre are not yet complete to welcome supporters and stage the match normally, and confirmed the game will be played behind closed doors.

The fixture had initially been set for Abel Sastre with supporters, before the decision was taken to move it.

It is the last run-out for Christian Díaz’s side before official competition begins in the 2025 Primera Nacional.

Their league debut is scheduled for Saturday 14 February, away to Colón de Santa Fe.
