Strong winds are expected to ease overnight, and CD Castellón's home game against Deportivo de la Coruña will go ahead at SkyFi Castalia on Sunday at 21.00.

Deportivo had informed the federation of concerns about travelling during Saturday's red wind alert, but competition plans were unchanged. The club has switched its route, flying to Valencia before completing the trip by bus to Castellón. According to La Opinión de A Coruña, the squad left after a morning training session and aim to reach their hotel around dinner time following about one hour on the road from Valencia.

Their charter was scheduled to depart at 18.00. The Galician side had already prepared contingencies around destination airport and timings, and those adjustments have now been activated.

Saturday's red alert led to the suspension of all youth football across the region. The RFEF also postponed Castellón B's meeting with Barcelona Atlètic in Segunda RFEF at Gaetà Huguet, in the capital of La Plana. With Barcelona facing a midweek fixture, the game could not be moved to Sunday and a new date will follow.

With conditions forecast to improve on Sunday, grassroots activity is due to resume as normal.
