Deportivo da Corunha remain interested in signing Benfica left-back Rafael Obrador, but the Galician club are also weighing up Pervis Estupiñán for the role.

Superdeporte reports that Estupiñán is not in Milan’s plans for next season and has emerged on the newly promoted La Liga side’s radar. The Ecuador international previously had a spell at Vitória de Setúbal.

Obrador’s next step is unresolved after Torino opted against triggering a nine million euro purchase clause. Deportivo da Corunha have shown interest in the left-back, who played for them in 2024/25 before joining Benfica.

Estupiñán cost Milan 17 million euros from Brighton, then found it hard to nail down a place in his first season at San Siro. He featured in 22 matches, scoring once and providing one assist.

Benfica signed Obrador for around five million euros, but he has made only one senior appearance. He is currently training with the B team while awaiting clarity on his future.
