Deportivo track Diogo Leite: centre-back has more suitors in La Liga

Diogo Leite is free to decide the next step in his career after ending his ties with Union Berlin on a free transfer at the end of the 2025/26 season. According to Angel Garcia, the 27-year-old Portuguese centre-back is being tracked by Spanish clubs, including newly promoted Deportivo de La Coruña and Real Sociedad.

The Portugal international was also recently linked with Al Diriyah, managed by Bruno Lage. However, the player is said to have turned down the offer from the Saudi Arabian club.

Developed at FC Porto, Diogo Leite made it to the Dragons’ first team and also represented Braga on loan. During his spell at Union Berlin, the centre-back played 136 official matches, scored two goals and provided three assists.
