Derby County supporters have taken to social media after it was revealed that season ticket prices have increased at Pride Park for next season.
Derby County have announced their new season ticket prices for the 2026/27 campaign, with supporters noticing significant increases when compared to the price that they paid 10 months ago.
The prices are for the first phase of the season ticket sale period, and gives those who already make that bi-weekly trip to Pride Park the opportunity to purchase their seat for the new season at a discounted price.
This is available to supporters until April 30, and then there will be a slight increase as those tickets become available to anyone with a Fan ID. The Rams are currently fighting for a play-off position and potentially promotion to the Premier League, making this an incredibly interesting renewal period for the club.
However, there has been discourse on social media about the prices that fans are expected to pay for their new season tickets, and there has been a relatively negative reaction to Derby's decision to raise the prices.
Last season, the most expensive season ticket at Pride Park was £537 for an adult, with that pricing set for those who sit in either the West Stand or the East Stand (along the sideline). However, this has increased by 13.69% for the 2026/27 campaign, with that same ticket now £610.50.

There has been a mixed reaction on X, with some understanding why there has been a price hike, while others are less comfortable. One fan wrote: "I have no issue in a slight increase as we’re spending the cash and backing John Eustace. Money needs to come from somewhere."
A fourth Derby fan wrote: "I'll pay whatever to watch my club. A slight increase couldn't care less. We're going places and I want to be part of it."
As a fifth disagreed: "43% increase in 3 years for me - think this will hit crowds as many people miss games due to TV shifting KOs and the entertainment at home has been shocking."
This is just the second time in the last five years that there has been a price increase on season tickets at Pride Park, but this one is significant after a prize freeze last time out.
However, Derby CEO Stephen Pearce has explained why there has been a hike in the cost to supporters. He said on the club's website: "Our average season ticket price is currently one of the lowest in the Sky Bet Championship, and even with a price increase for next season we believe it continues to offer fair, competitive, and affordable pricing.

"Whilst it is vitally important to the success of the club that we maintain our incredibly dedicated fanbase, we do need to generate additional revenue from multiple sources to continue investing in the playing staff, academy, and training ground and stadium facilities.
"Consequently, and after much deliberation, we’ve decided on a price increase which carefully balances the club’s needs with the cost of living and reflects our commitment to rewarding Season Ticket holders."
