Jake Cooper levelled by turning into his own net (88.) after a spell of Derby corners.

Max Crocombe made sharp stops, denying Patrick Agyemang after the restart as Derby pushed on. Jacob Zetterström also tipped away a Tristan Crama drive from distance during the Lions' best spell.

After Derby introduced Lars-Jørgen Salvesen and Rhian Brewster, Agyemang continued to stretch the back line, while the Lions threatened repeatedly from set pieces through Cooper.

Play paused briefly for treatment to Jacob Zetterström after the opener, before the game resumed for a frantic finish.

Derby registered 13 attempts and forced 11 corners as the pressure built. The Lions produced 12 attempts and were strong in the air.

Next, Derby visit Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Monday. The Lions host Hull next.
