DFB Pokal semi-final draw: Leverkusen face Bayern, Stuttgart meet Freiburg

Bayer Leverkusen will host Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart will host Freiburg in the DFB Pokal semi-finals, in an all-Bundesliga last four.

According to Get German Football News, the draw was made late on Sunday, 12 days after the quarter-finals concluded. The ties are set for 21st and 22nd of April.

Bayern beat RB Leipzig 2-0 in the last eight. Stuttgart and Leverkusen both won 3-0 against Holstein Kiel and St Pauli, while Freiburg needed penalties to see off Hertha Berlin.

Bayern are on their longest current wait to reach the final, last appearing in 2020. Freiburg were finalists in 2022, and Leverkusen and Stuttgart are the previous two winners.

Hertha Berlin and Holstein Kiel were the last non-Bundesliga sides to depart in the quarter-finals.
