Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo confirmed that he will be watching Wednesday evening’s Champions League match between Inter and Arsenal ‘as a spectator’, before he and his teammates go into more detail with Antonio Conte and his staff ahead of Napoli’s game against the Nerazzurri in Serie A on Sunday.
Inter are hosting Arsenal at San Siro in the fourth round of Champions League fixtures on Wednesday evening. It will then be a case of first vs second in Serie A at the weekend, as Napoli are the next challengers at the Stadio Meazza.
“I will watch Inter tonight, because I watch a lot of games,” Di Lorenzo said in an interview with Radio CRC.
“It will be a great match because they are two teams who are doing really well. I’ll watch it as a spectator, and then we’ll go into detail with the coach in the next few days,” the Partenopei captain added.
Di Lorenzo also believes that Napoli have already recovered after their surprise 3-0 defeat at home to Atalanta. Conte’s side had not lost since the opening weekend of the season, but were toppled after an Ademola Lookman double and a third from Mateo Retegui.

“Losing hurts, but defeats only make you stronger. They’re part of the journey. We have already analysed the match and we will make the most of any other defeats in the future too. It’s a shame, but we move on. We’re already thinking about the next game.”
