Díaz & Colombia bow out of World Cup

The World Cup dream is over for Luis Díaz and Colombia after Los Cafeteros were knocked out on penalties by Switzerland in the round of 16. There were no goals after 90 or 120 minutes in Vancouver despite good chances for both sides, meaning the tie went to a shootout, where the Swiss prevailed 4-3. Díaz was on the pitch for the entire game and converted his penalty but could only watch as his nation came up short.
