Diego Jara appointed Cruz del Sur head coach | OneFootball

According to SuperDepor.com, Diego Jara has taken charge of Cruz del Sur’s first team in San Carlos de Bariloche. He previously represented the club for several seasons in Regional tournaments.

The former defender is well remembered in valletano football, having played for Racing, Germinal, Huracán and Independiente. He also featured for Boxing de Río Gallegos and Belgrano de Esquel, among others.

Next season the Bariloche side will contest the local Apertura, Clausura and Copa Bariloche, and the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. The club have qualified for that competition as winners of Apertura 2025.

In the most recent campaign, Cruz del Sur faced San Martin de Esquel in Zone five of the Regional and qualified as one of the best runners-up. They then fell in the first knockout phase, losing to San Patricio on penalties.

Jara takes over with local competitions and the Regional campaign ahead.
