Diego Nunes will leave Benfica at the end of the season to rejoin Palma Futsal, the current UEFA Futsal Champions League holders.

Barcelona also explored a move, but Nunes has opted for Palma as his next destination.

His comeback will reunite him with a team that has excelled in Europe, having won the recent editions of the competition.

This season under Cassiano Klein, Nunes has been a key figure for Benfica, playing 27 official matches with 15 goals and 17 assists. Since 2022 he has won a national title, the Portuguese Cup, the League Cup and the Super Cup with the club.
