Corinthians lost 2-1 at Mirassol in the 14th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, but 18-year-old Dieguinho scored to climb into fourth in the club’s season scoring chart. Meu Timao notes the change in the standings.

The attacking midfielder started on the bench and was introduced 29 minutes into the second half. Soon after, he collected a pass from Zakaria Labyad on the right, cut inside and struck left-footed from the edge, a deflection leaving goalkeeper Walter stranded.

He now has two goals this season, having also scored in the win over Capivariano on 5 February 2026 in the Campeonato Paulista. That puts him level in fourth with Jesse Lingard, Gabriel Paulista, Breno Bidon, Matheus Bidu and Kayke, who is out for the season after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Ahead of them, André Luiz and Gustavo Henrique have three goals each in 2026. Yuri Alberto remains top scorer with five, though he is on a run of seven games without scoring.

Also on one goal this year are João Pedro Tchoca, Memphis Depay, Gui Negão, André Ramalho, Vitinho, Raniele and Rodrigo Garro, contributing to the team’s 30 goals in 2026.

Corinthians’ next chance to add to the list is on Wednesday at 21:30, away to Independiente Santa Fe at Estadio El Campín, in the fourth round of Copa Libertadores Group E.
