An emotional milestone on his Inter journey: Dimarco is Inter through and through...

His debut for the Men's First Team was on December 11, 2014, in the second half of Qarabag vs. Inter. He played in his first Serie A game on May 31st, 2015, when he came on for Palacio in the final minutes of Inter vs. Empoli, that ended 4-3. Ascoli, Empoli, Sion, and Parma were key stops along his journey before returning to Inter in 2019.

He returned to Inter in 2019, and made his second debut on November 23 against Torino. In the Coppa Italia, on January 2020, he made his first start in a 4-1 win over Cagliari. After a loan spell at Hellas Verona, he returned to Inter for good in 2021. His first goal was on September 12, a fantastic free kick away to Sampdoria. From that moment, his story with Inter really took off and he became a key figure in the lineup.

On February 12, 2022, Federico Dimarco won his first trophy with Inter. After beating Juventus 2-1 in extra time, they won the Supercoppa Italiana. A few months later, on May 11, Inter beat Juventus again to win the Coppa Italia, after a thrilling 4-2 win, once again in extra time. Two finals, two victories, and that was just the start.

In 2022, he was called up to the National team, where he has since earned 16 caps and scored two goals. He helped the Azzurri secure qualification for Euro 2024.

The 2022/23 season marked a turning point. Dimarco became the undisputed starter on the left wing. On November 9, he scored his first Serie A brace, in a 6-1 win over Bologna, both scored with his left foot. He showed confidence and talent. Then in the Supercoppa Italiana, in Riyadh, he scored in the 3-0 derby final against AC Milan. In April, he scored against Juventus in the Coppa Italia semifinal, with a decisive goal. Then, on May 24, he lifted the Coppa Italia against Fiorentina, before ending the season in the Champions League final in Istanbul. It was a step towards the elites of European football, topped off by his inclusion in the UEFA Team of the Year. That year changed everything, he grew from a rising youngster wearing an Inter shirt, to a reliable star of the people.

The following season, Dimarco reached 100 appearances for Inter on August 28, 2023 after the win against Cagliari. A proud moment that showed his commitment to the Club. His left foot became his signature. He scored the winner against Empoli that ended 1-0, and on November 11, 2023, he produced a miracle against Frosinone. From 56 metres, he crafted a perfectly arched strike that appeared to defy the laws of physics. The crowd went silent and then erupted in awe. His extraordinary goal was later shortlisted for the FIFA Puskás Award. It was a symbol of a magical season, that ended with 5 goals and 6 assists. He played a decisive role in securing Inter's second star. A magician with his left foot, and Inter through and through. In December 2023, he signed a new contract until 2027.

Consistency, elegance and substance. Dimarco continues to write his story. He scored in the September 2024 Derby against AC Milan, crucial goals agianst Parma and Lazio, and a trademark set-piece goal against Napoli.
