Contract extension

“I am very happy and delighted to announce this two-year extension with Valencia CF. I had no doubts about this extension, I have always wanted it and been focused on it because I am very happy here and with everything that the Club represents.”

Valencia CF

“I always try to show and give the best of myself. I know what Valencia CF are and their greatness, their people and everything that comes with it. I always said that I wanted to play for a big club when I arrived in Spain and Valencia CF are one of the biggest. I am very happy and delighted to continue, I enjoy every day training, playing and defending this badge.”

2025/26 season

“It was a pity that LALIGA ended because I was doing well and happy. We could not achieve what we wanted, but we have a year ahead of us in which we must come back stronger and more prepared to achieve our objectives.”

Individual performance

“The goalkeeper position has always been like that. With every match and every minute I felt better, the preparation with Marcos and Andoni was incredible, we have always maintained the level and pushed ourselves so that, when the moment arrived, we would be ready. We have always been well prepared and at a very high level. I feel very well prepared, physically and mentally. It can be said that, up to now, I feel I am at my best personal level. I have never trained at any club like this, in this way and with this philosophy, because of what I see every day and, each time, I believe even more in incredible saves and the preparation is magnificent to be able to show that I am at my best moment, although we can always improve.”

Best save of 2025/26

“The one in the match against Athletic Club was a very good save. The exercises we do are real situations that can happen, but I have to admit that the one in the match against Girona FC was the best. I watched it several times and it was incredible. Also the one at Anoeta against Real Sociedad. We train that type of action every day.”

Specific work

“My best performances come through the goalkeeping coaches (Marcos Abad, Andoni Ochotorena and José Manuel Ochotorena). They demand a lot from us, they help us and we do incredible work. I learned many things from all of them, things that are different from what I had seen before. There are many situations that help you to be better positioned, more active, we train at maximum intensity every day. In professional football, they have brought the best out of me in my career so far in the First Division.”

National team: North Macedonia

“To qualify for the World Cup from Europe is very difficult. You have to finish first in the group and the playoff was very complicated. It is about getting up and continuing to fight. I probably have one or two more World Cups left in me and I am going to try with all my desire. And, like Valencia CF next year, we have to try to keep moving upwards and achieve more important objectives.”

“We have to have a good first half of the season and then the second half surely will be as well.”
