Dínamo de Moscou in talks to sign Plata from Flamengo | OneFootball

Dínamo de Moscou have opened negotiations with Flamengo to sign Ecuador forward Gonzalo Plata, 25, with price and payment structure under discussion.

Sport24 reports that the Russian club already have an agreement with Plata and consider the talks advanced. There is still no agreement with Flamengo on fees or instalments.

Plata joined Flamengo in 2024 from Al-Sadd for US$ 9.1 million, and his value has risen since the 2026 World Cup, meaning any sale would require higher figures.

He has made 32 appearances this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists. His contract runs until August 2029, and he has alternated between starting and the bench under Leonardo Jardim.

Russian interest in Plata is not new, but Dínamo de Moscou have pushed the furthest and have monitored him since the window opened. The structure of payments is viewed as key to any agreement.
