One of the champions of the 2000 FIFA Club World Cup and a fan idol, Dinei sent a message to the delegation for the Brazilian Cup final. Corinthians faces Vasco da Gama this Sunday (21) at Maracanã, competing for the national tournament title.

“I’m sending a message to the players and the coaching staff. In the year 2000, during the 2000 World Cup, everyone said Vasco was the favorite because they played at Maracanã. Don’t doubt this here, don’t doubt it. You play for Corinthians. I trust you. The Corinthians mystique is f***”, said the former player on his social media.

And let me tell you more. It’s blood in the eye. It’s Corinthians. In 2000, I remember. No, what? Vasco favorite…”, he added.

The game is completely open for who will be the Brazilian Cup champion. With the goalless draw in the first leg at Neo Química Arena, whoever wins in regular time will be the winner of the decision. Thus, in case of another draw, the title will be decided by penalties.
