Dion Sanderson took to X on Tuesday evening to send a strong message to Derby County after Bobby Clark's winner.
Dion Sanderson has urged Derby County to make Bobby Clark's loan deal a permanent move after the Rams' 2-1 victory over Charlton Athletic on Tuesday evening.
The Rams have won back-to-back games in the league for the first time in 2026, with an own goal from Macaulay Gillesphey handing the away side the lead at The Valley before Clark made it 2-0 in the second-half.
Tyreece Campbell halved the deficit just seven minutes after Derby's second goal, and while Matt Clarke was sent off late on, John Eustace's side held on to make it two away wins in two following Saturday's 1-0 victory against Preston North End.
It was a terrific performance from the Rams, and despite the late switch in goal as Richard O'Donnell replaced the ill Jacob Widell Zetterstrom, the team were excellent and Clark in particular was a real credit to the East Midlands outfit.
Derby were without Sanderson for the third game in a row on Tuesday, as the centre-back continued to recover from a bout of shin splints.

Nevertheless, the former Birmingham City man was keeping up to date with everything going on in South East London, and when Clark scored the goal that proved to be the winner, the 26-year-old posted on : "Sign him."
Clark has been a credit to the Rams throughout this season after joining on loan from RB Salzburg in the summer, and over the course of the last few months he has been incredible. The ex-Liverpool youngster has slowly started to add goals to his game during that time and he will be huge for the run-in.
However, supporters will be extremely keen to see the 20-year-old stay permanently once the 2025/26 campaign comes to an end, and it is apparent that his teammates feel the same.
Clark has featured in all but one league game for the Rams this season, missing out on the opening day against Stoke City. He's started every single match since October 25 and it is clear to see just how vital he is to Eustace and the rest of the team.

Derby lacked a midfielder with the creativity of the Epsom-born star in 2024/25, and he has been a credit to the club since joining on loan. However, after joining RB Salzburg for £10m in August 2024, David Clowes will have some negotiating to do to get a deal done in the summer.
Nonetheless, Clark has been vital for the Rams and with the team now 10th in the Championship, supporters will be dreaming of a top six finish and a return to the play-offs.
