Di'Shon Bernard has revealed a major hint as to whether he will be playing for Sheffield Wednesday next season
Sheffield Wednesday are set to see another high player turnover in the summer transfer window, but will hope to retain some key assets too.
The Owls witnessed several high-profile departures last summer, because former owner Dejphon Chansiri consistently failed to pay his players' wages on time before plunging the Hillsborough club into administration.
Wednesday are currently set to be subject to a takeover from American David Storch's Arise Consortium, who are vying to get the South Yorkshire outfit moving in the right direction once again.
Storch is currently undergoing the EFL's Owners' and Directors' Test, and is hoping to complete his transaction ahead of the summer transfer window.

If Arise don't complete their takeover by May, their bid leader will then be subject to the Independent Football Regulator's checks.
Meanwhile, the South Yorkshire outfit are set to be handed a 15-point deduction in League One next season, because Storch's bid fell below the amount required to pay creditors 25p in the pound.
Despite their relegation to the third tier, and their upcoming EFL sanction, Wednesday can still hope to recruit well this summer, provided their takeover goes through.
Discussing his Owls future, defender Di'Shon Bernard, who hasn't featured since last season thanks to serious knee injury problems, indicated he will be around for 2026/27. He told the South Yorkshire outfit's club media: "I see all the messages, the people I bump into on the street. They're definitely a major part of why I've also kept going, really.
"Every time I see something, it's always 'When's Di'Sh back?' Just keep going all the time, definitely a big thanks to them. Hopefully, I can't wait to be back out there next season, in front of all of them, really."
The former Manchester United man has returned to action at the Owls' Middlewood training ground during the international break.
Bernard's current contract at Hillsborough lasts until 2027, and the defender's comments have indicated that he intends on remaining where he is, rather than pursuing a transfer this summer.

Henrik Pedersen has overseen an incredibly difficult season in charge of Wednesday, whose 18-point deduction acted as a catalyst for relegation to League One.
The South Yorkshire club's summer transfer window saw them lose the likes of Josh Windass and Anthony Musaba, while Owls hero Barry Bannan joined Millwall in January.
As a result of such tough mitigating circumstances, Pedersen has managed to steer Wednesday to just one win in 39 attempts in the Championship.
The 48-year-old will be determined to earn at least one more victory in his side's last seven games, to restore some pride at Hillsborough.
Meanwhile, next season's 15-point deduction will make it more difficult for the Owls to compete in League One next season, but Bernard's presence will certainly help matters.
The 25-year-old has adequate Championship experience, thanks to his time with both Wednesday and Hull City, while he previously played in League One when he was on loan with Portsmouth from Man United.
