Djaoui Cissé on Strasbourg radar as Rennes exit considered | OneFootball

Rennes midfielder Djaoui Cissé could leave his academy club before the end of the window. According to L'Équipe, Strasbourg have shown interest.

The 22-year-old is under contract until 2030 and has been among the Rennes players viewed as possible departures since early summer, alongside Jordan James and Lilian Brassier.

A revelation in the second half of 2024-25 and at the 2025 Under-21 Euros, the Rennes academy product saw his league minutes drop last season to 982 from 1,130 the year before.

He has not featured in recent pre-season friendlies. Strasbourg, active in the market, appears a possible landing spot.

However, there are not thought to have been discussions between the clubs at this stage.
