Fiorentina have agreed an €18m deal for Everton striker Beto, a late window move that unlocks Moise Kean’s transfer to Como amid a connected series of deals.

According to Football Italia, Kean has been lined up for Como for several days on a €5m loan with an obligation to buy for €30m plus €5m in add-ons, but Fiorentina wanted a replacement before letting him leave.

They pushed hard for Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United, only to realise late on Sunday that the Dutchman is focused on Juventus.

That opened the door for the Bianconeri to lodge a loan offer with an option to buy for €30m, with Atletico Madrid pushing for Jonathan David.

Accepting Zirkzee would keep stalling, Fiorentina switched to Beto. The former Udinese forward is set to return to Serie A for €17m to €18m and is due in Italy on Monday for a medical.

With Beto incoming, Kean can head to Como for tests and look to complete his move.
