Premier League side AFC Bournemouth have a full agreement in place to sign Alex Jimenez on loan from Milan with an option to buy that will become an obligation under certain conditions according to reports in Italy.
The 22-year-old full-back will join The Cherries for an initial 12 months in a loan deal that will cost just shy of €2m. The Rossoneri will receive just over €20m total if the move is made permanent according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
For now, Bournemouth have an option to buy, but that could potentially become a mandatory obligation later down the line.

Bournemouth had an initial offer for Jimenez turned down by Milan earlier this week, but have since agreed to surpass the €20m mark for the youngster’s services.
The former Real Madrid talent is capable of covering at both sides of full-back as well as on the wing if required.
For disciplinary reasons, he was left out Massimiliano Allegri’s first two matchday squads of the Serie A season, and that in turn has led to the 20-year-old’s departure from San Siro.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that he could fly out for his Bournemouth medical on Sunday.
