DONE DEAL: Braga president announces signing of Real Betis winger Diego Lainez

Real Betis winger Diego Lainez has joined Braga on-loan.

The Mexico international has signed a new deal to 2025 with Betis before joining Braga for the new season. The loan includes a permanent option worth €7m.

Braga president Antonio Salvador said: “Diego is a great talent in international football and we have been working for two months to get him to come. He has been a constant work of all.

"He really liked our project. Today we got a loan with the option to buy, we finished it today. The clause is 7 million euros. But he cost Betis 14 million three years ago.

"He is one of the greatest talents in world football."
