Napoli now have a deal wrapped up with Serie B side Frosinone for the transfer of former Milan youngster Marco Brescianini according to multiple reports on Monday afternoon.
The 24-year-old is set to make the short trip over to Naples to sign an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy. Napoli will reportedly pay a fee of €1m to have him on loan for the season, and will have to pay €11m at a later date to make the move permanent.
According to reports from SportMediaset, Brescianini will sign a five-year contract, tying him to the Stadio Maradona until the summer of 2029. He is set to receive around €1.2m per season in wages.
New Partenopei coach Antonio Conte recently made his feelings clear that he would like more additions before the start of the Serie A season.
Fortunately for him, the club are also closing in on an official agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Scotland international Billy Gilmour.
