Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain on transfer deadline day.
The Italy international will undergo a medical at the Etihad on Friday afternoon ahead of completing his move from the European champions.
Donnarumma has less than 12 months to run on his contract at PSG, who are prepared to let the 26-year-old leave. PSG have already signed Lucas Chevalier from Lille as a replacement for Donnarumma.
Manchester City are set to finalise the transfer today, according to Fabrizio Romano. The deal comes after Ederson sealed a £12m agreement to move to Turkish Süper Lig side Fenerbahce.
Donnarumma will arrive in the Premier League after a decorated spell in French football. The goalkeeper joined PSG from AC Milan on a free transfer in 2021 and won four Ligue 1 titles among his honours at the Parc des Princes.
Last season, he was named UEFA Goalkeeper of the Year after playing a pivotal part in PSG’s first-ever Champions League success.
