Borussia Dortmund have already made six first team signings this season and they show no sign of letting up.
The Bundesliga club are going through a lot of changes as they enter a new era with head coach Lucien Favre.
It seems they aren’t finished yet, either. According to Spanish newspaper AS, Dortmund are in negotiations with Leganés over left-back Diego Rico. The 25-year-old has made 51 appearances in LaLiga over the last two seasons after joining the Madrid-based club for just €1m back in 2016.
Dortmund have supposedly tabled a bid of €18m, close to the €20m asking price, but face a lot of competition for the defender.
AS say Bournemouth and Real Sociedad have already tabled serious offers, though Dortmund’s bid exceeds those.
Dortmund currently have Marcel Schmelzer and Raphaël Guerreiro for the left-side of their defence but could look to move on the latter after an underwhelming and injury-ravaged campaign.
