Borussia Dortmund’s hopes of signing Poland whizzkid Kacper Kozłowski may be a little dented after events on Saturday.
The Pogoń Szczecin player, dubbed the ‘Polish Pogba’, became the youngest player to ever feature at the European Championship when he was introduced as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 with Spain.
Dortmund have been linked with the teenager (via Italian outlet Calciomercato), who can play a variety of midfield positions.
However Barcelona, Juventus, and Bologna were also reported to be interested in the starlet’s services.
With another year to run on his contract with Szczecin, Transfermarkt have the Koszalin native valued at €5.5m.
However, with the world watching as he made his entrance in Seville, the Portowcy could now be forgiven for holding out for more.
If Dortmund are truly keen on landing Kozłowski, they will hope their reputation for developing some of the game’s top young talents will give them an edge in any negotiations.
