The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has suspended Samuele Inacio for two matches.

In the opening game of the Bundesliga season, Inácio was sent off in Borussia Dortmund's 2-0 win over Hamburger SV last Saturday.

Match referee Felix Zwayer brandished the red card after the 18-year-old's mistimed tackle on Albert Grønbæk on 77 minutes.

For the BVB talent, this means he will be unavailable to Niko Kovač for Dortmund's next two Bundesliga matches.

As a result, Inácio will watch on from the stands against TSG Hoffenheim on 5 September and SC Paderborn on 12 September.
