Yes, you can now protect your key players from the dreaded buy-out clauses, although only for a limited time. What is double shielding?

Double shielding is a free feature that allows you to shield two players on your team from transfer clauses for a certain amount of time:

24 hours for non-Premium users.
48 hours for Premium users.

Important: you can only shield players whose transfer clause is already active.

How does it work step by step?

Select 2 players → Choose two players from your squad that you want to protect and who have active clauses.
Activate the shield → View an advert
The countdown begins → Start the timer: 24 or 48 hours of protection depending on your league type.End of shield → When the time expires, the player is once again exposed to buy-out clauses.

Key points to remember.

Two shields per fixture → There are no second chances.
Free → They cost nothing, but forgetting them can cost you dearly.
It doesn't eliminate transfer fees → It simply delays the moment when your opponent can go after your players.
