Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz is having a tough time in Turin, but according to reports in Italy, he doesn’t want to leave the club in January.
According to Tuttosport and Calciomercato.com, Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz is eager to stay in Turin and fight for a starting spot under Thiago Motta.
The 26-year-old was one of Juventus’ most expensive signings last summer but has failed to justify his price tag, playing just 312 minutes without goals or assists.

The ex-Aston Villa star is currently injured and won’t be available on Saturday when Juventus host Bologna at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
Nevertheless, Italian media claim that the Brazilian is willing to prove his worth at his new club when he returns to action in the second part of the season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reported last week that Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli had offered both Douglas Luiz and Nicolò Fagioli to Manchester United and City.
Douglas Luiz joined Juventus from Aston Villa in a €50m deal last summer, but Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling-Junior’s permanent transfers to the Premier League club meant Juventus practically paid just €28m for the Brazilian midfielder.
