Dovbyk reflects on first season at Roma: “I could have certainly done more.” | OneFootball

Roma striker Artem Dovbyk was the latest guest of the Idealista interview for the capital club’s social media.

During the interview, Dovbyk looked back on his first season in the Italian capital, marked with 17 goals and 3 assists.

“Everything turned out as I imagined,” said the Ukrainian striker. “Both city and club are magical.”

“The city is wonderful and the historic center is breathtaking. Perhaps the part that I like the most and where I have been most often is the Stadio Olimpico.”

“The fondest memory? The first home game against Empoli, even if the result was not positive. I was impressed by the atmosphere of the stadium, by the enthusiasm of all the fans.”

“Overall I would say this season was positive, being in my first year in a new environment where I had to adapt. But I could have certainly done more. I certainly gave my best to contribute to the good of the team.”
