Draw reveals groups for 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship

Miami, FL (Wednesday, March 25, 2025)—Concacaf has conducted the official draw for the 2025 Concacaf Women's U-20 Championship. The region’s qualifiers for the 2025 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will take place from May 29 to June 8 at the Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium in Alajuela, Costa Rica, and eight Concacaf Member Associations will participate.
After today’s draw, the Groups are as follows:
Group A: United States, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Guyana
Group B: Mexico, Canada, Panama, Nicaragua
The road to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup began with the Concacaf Women’s U-20 Qualifiers, in which 24 teams participated. After round-robin play, the six group winners—Guyana, Puerto Rico, Panama, Nicaragua, Canada, and Costa Rica—advanced to the Championship, joining the two top-ranked teams—the United States and Mexico.
The Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship will kick off with a Group Stage (two groups of four teams each). After Round-Robin play, the group winners and runners-up (four teams in total) will advance to the semifinals and qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Poland 2026.
The semifinal winners will advance to the Final, where a champion will be crowned.
