The atmosphere inside Real Madrid appears to be deteriorating rapidly as the club heads into one of the most important matches of the season against Barcelona.
According to fresh reports from MARCA, tensions within the Madrid dressing room have now reached worrying levels, with divisions growing between several players and members of the coaching staff.
The report claims that as many as six Real Madrid players currently refuse to speak to Alvaro Arbeloa.
Relationships within the squad are also believed to have become increasingly fractured, with certain groups of players no longer communicating properly with others inside the dressing room.
The situation shows evident frustration surrounding a season that has failed to meet expectations, as Real Madrid are facing the possibility of ending the campaign without major silverware.
On top of that, performances in recent weeks have only increased the pressure around the club.

According to the report, emotional exhaustion has started affecting the entire squad.
In fact, the difficult atmosphere has made day-to-day life inside Valdebebas increasingly complicated, especially as disappointment continues to build ahead of the final weeks of the season.
The tension surrounding the team became even more visible this week following the reported training-ground altercation involving Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Carreras.
Although there were attempts to reduce the importance of the incident, reports suggest the internal situation remains far from calm.
Sunday’s El Clasico at Camp Nou could further intensify the situation, as Barcelona require only a single point to effectively secure the La Liga title.
Not only would it confirm Barcelona’s domestic dominance for the second season running, but it would also deepen scrutiny over the current state of the Madrid dressing room.
