Although it has been some months since FC Barcelona returned to play at the Spotify Camp Nou, construction works at the stadium are still continuing.

In this regard, an update has been provided by Mundo Deportivo, which reports that the development of the third tier is now nearing completion, with most of the prefabricated stands already in place.

The club has already secured the 1C license, allowing the reopening of the North Stand and pushing the current capacity beyond 62,000 spectators. Attention has now shifted to the final remaining section of the third tier, the upper part of the South Stand.

This is the same area where dismantling first began when renovation work was initiated. Once waterproofing is completed in the coming months, the installation of seats in the third tier will begin.

A recently released drone video by the club showcased the scale of progress, offering a clear view of how close the third tier is to being fully assembled. In parallel, structural work has intensified in recent weeks, with the installation of key pillars designed to support the future roof now underway in the upper sections of the stadium.

Looking ahead, the end of the current season will provide a crucial window for accelerated progress. Once competitive matches conclude in late May, Limak Construction will benefit from several uninterrupted months to continue the work at Camp Nou without the constraints of matchday operations.
