Drones to light up Dragão area in tribute to Pinto da Costa

After the ‘President of Presidents Jersey’, FC Porto announced another tribute for the day marking the first anniversary of the death of Pinto da Costa. In the early hours from Saturday to Sunday, at 00:42 – a symbolic time evoking the 42 years of his leadership – the sky over the Dragão will be illuminated by drones, “in a moment that seeks to magnify his vast array of achievements,” states FC Porto on the official website.

The viaduct of the Estádio do Dragão is pointed out as the location with the best view, while the Stadium Square lacks visibility for this tribute.
