FC Bayern is facing a real cracker against Real Madrid – and of course many fans want to be there live. There is a huge rush for tickets, especially for the second leg in Munich. The club has now reacted and addressed its fans with clear words.

Around two weeks before the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League between FC Bayern and Real Madrid, Munich are sounding the alarm. Numerous dubious ticket offers are apparently circulating on the internet around the home game on 15 April in the Allianz Arena. The club sees this as a growing risk for its own supporters.

In a statement on social media, the record champions issued an urgent warning about possible cases of fraud, stating: „We have discovered that numerous ticket offers are currently circulating in unofficial social media groups and on unauthorized platforms in connection with our UEFA Champions League home match against Real Madrid on 15 April 2026.“

Clear warning against counterfeit tickets

The club is even clearer in its statement and describes specific scams being used by sellers. „Dear fans, please note: In most cases, these are attempts to deceive. The tickets on offer often do not exist, are fake or invalid.“ According to Bayern, the sellers are trying to build trust by offering tickets at the original price or even below.

At the same time, the club expressly advises against purchasing tickets via platforms such as Facebook, classified ads or Viagogo. Instead, only the official sales channels should be used to protect against financial losses.

A look at current offers shows how outrageous some sellers are being. In some cases, tickets are being resold at extremely inflated prices. For two seats in the stadium, sums of over €7,000 were recently demanded – many times the original price. There is also the risk that such tickets will not be valid on match day and admission will be refused.

It is not only the black market that is causing unrest among fans. FC Bayern’s regular ticket prices have also recently caused discussion. Some supporters feel that the costs are too high. Up to 200 euros are charged for top categories in the stadium. In an international comparison, however, these prices are within the usual range. At the first leg in Madrid, the costs for comparable seats were even significantly higher, reaching up to 445 euros.
