Dunkerque reject Brest's first bid for Sekongo

Dunkerque have turned down Brest's opening offer for Antoine Sekongo.

According to L'Équipe, the Ligue 2 side rejected a proposal worth about €1.5m, and Brest are expected to return with another bid.

Sekongo, 22, could step up to Ligue 1 next season, which remains Brest's hope.

Talks are expected to continue for the midfielder, who featured 34 times last season in the league.

He finished with nine goals and six assists in that competition.
