Werder Bremen will be without two key players when they visit Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

"Jens Stage and Felix Agu are unavailable. Everyone else will be there," revealed Werder coach Ole Werner at a press conference on Thursday.

"We're pleased that [Stage] has extended his contract. He's developed both on and off the pitch, and is a real leader. It's therefore a shame that he's going to miss this game. He's still got a back problem.

“Felix has had problems with his knee since the game against Kiel. There's nothing structurally wrong, but he's taken a knock. It's still causing problems.”

Leonardo Bittencourt is expected to play alongside Senne Lynen in central midfield in Stage's absence, while Derrick Köhn looks in line to replace Agu at left wing-back.

Werder head into the game in eighth place following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Holstein-Kiel before the international break.
