Duo stand alone as top champions in Corinthians Women’s history

Corinthians continues to expand its glorious history in women's football, and two of its stars have reached an unprecedented milestone at the club. This Saturday, Gabi Zanotti and Vic Albuquerque became the most decorated champions in the history of the Brabas, each accumulating 18 titles.

With this achievement, the duo surpassed Paulinha, Yasmim, and Tamires, who have 17 trophies in their collections. It is important to note that, despite still being part of the squad, Paulinha was left out of the list of champions for the season as she was not registered for this edition of the Conmebol Libertadores Feminina.

The historic mark was achieved after Corinthians won the 2025 Women's Libertadores, defeating Deportivo Cali from Colombia 5-3 on penalties at Estadio Florencio Sola in Buenos Aires. In the shootout, the team converted all penalties with Gabi Zanotti, Vic Albuquerque, Thaís Ferreira, Mariza, and Jhonson, securing the third consecutive title and the sixth in the club's history in the competition — an unprecedented feat in the continental tournament.

With the new trophy, Corinthians reached six Women's Libertadores titles (2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2025), firmly establishing its supremacy in South American football. Additionally, the team secured a spot in the Copa das Campeãs, a tournament that will bring together the intercontinental winners of the season.

A legendary figure of the Brabas, Gabi Zanotti has accumulated 18 titles since arriving at Parque São Jorge. Her collection includes six Libertadores, five Brazilian Championships, five Paulista Championships, and two Supercups, confirming her status as one of the greatest players in the history of Corinthians women's football.

Meanwhile, Vic Albuquerque, who is the top scorer in the club's history with 121 goals in 242 matches, also has 18 titles with the Alvinegro Paulista jersey, but with one less Brazilian Championship than Gabi Zanotti, and with a Copa Paulista included, a competition that the number 10 did not play.
